Game Concept: This fantasy drag racing game is a game of skill, and winners will be determined by the objective criteria set forth herein. From all eligible entries received, winners will be determined by the participant who uses his or her knowledge of the historical events surrounding NHRA Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Bike racing, including relative strengths and weaknesses, to accumulate the most points during the game terms as defined below. Game may not be used in any form of gambling.
Eligibility: Participants must be 18 years of age or older at time of registration and must be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia except in those states or districts where such activities are illegal; knowledge of and adherence to any and all local regulations regarding this promotion are the exclusive responsibility of the entrant. All employees and immediate family members of MotorSportsPromos and/or sponsors including the advertising, production, and fulfillment agencies are not eligible for prizes. The game operators reserve the right to disqualify any entry form that is incomplete or incorrect. Only one entry per person; players must have valid, unrestricted email address. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Those excluded based on residence criteria may play, but WILL NOT be eligible to receive any prizes and/or be designated the winner of any round, quarter or championship; players found to be ineligible to win prizes will be dismissed from game results and prizes will be awarded to the eligible player with the highest points per prize category.
How to Play: The game will follow the actual race results for the NHRA Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Motorcycles classes or series.
Players will register the names of eight pro class drivers, at least one driver per class, for all 23 national events and be awarded points according to actual race results. The player with the most points after each national event is a “Top Dawg” winner.
Game is divided into quarters. The one player who scores the most points per quarter is a Quarterly Championship winner.
Players who pick at least one race winner during the first three quarters qualify to participate in the Countdown championship contest which includes all races during the fourth quarter game segment. The one player who scores the most points during that game period is the Countdown Championship winner.
At end of season the one player with the most race winner picks is the "Lucky Dawg" winner.
Weekly Entry Deadlines: Players can change their picks at anytime up to 12:00 AM MST (Arizona) on the Friday before each NHRA national event weekend. At 12:00 AM MST on the Friday before each national, or at midnight on every Thursday night, the site changes to show the player's confirmed picks for that weekend's race(s).
The Points System: Player's drivers will earn points according to the same scoring system as used by the NHRA. Each Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Pro Modified and Pro Stock Bike winner receives 100 points, the runner-up receives 80 points, the third round losers receive 60 points, the second round losers receive 40 points, and the first round losers receives 30 points. Qualifying points are also awarded; the fastest qualifier receives 8 points, the second-fastest qualifier receives 7 points, the third-fastest qualifier receives 6 points, the fourth-fastest qualifier receives 5 points; the fifth and sixth-fastest qualifiers receives 4 points, the seventh and eighth-fastest qualifiers receives 3 points, the ninth-through-twelfth fastest qualifiers receives 2 points, and the thirteenth through sixteenth-fastest qualifiers receives 1 point. Drivers also earn points for officially recognized national records and qualifying attempts but do not receive bonus qualifying points for best times per qualifying sessions.
Odds of Winning: Chances of winning depend upon the total number of entries received and the skill used in choosing drivers.
TBD Prizes: Prizes will be awarded on a national event, end-of-quarter and end-of-season basis. Top Dawg prizes will be awarded to the top point scoring team for each national event race weekend or round; a tie-breaking system will determine a winner in case of duplicate scores or pick results. First-round tiebreaker will be awarded to the participant with the earliest registration date and time. Top Dawg weekly prizes will be awarded for all 23 scheduled 2012 NHRA national events. A prize will also be awarded to the one entrant that accumulates the most points for each of the four quarterly games, and to the highest scoring player for the Countdown game segment for those players who have qualified by picking at least one winner during the first three quarterly game segments. A prize will also be awarded to the one entrant that picks the most race winners during the entire game period. Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded, no cash equivalents, no substitutes, except as determined by sponsor in its sole discretion. Winners must be domiciled residents of the United States to be eligible for prizes. All winners automatically grant to sponsor the right to use their name, address and photo for publicity without compensation. Any and all federal, state, and local taxes in connection with the prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. All costs and expenses not specified herein related to the acceptance and use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize winners will receive a tax Form 1099-M and will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release within ten (10) days of notification. In the event of non-compliance, the prize will not be awarded. Neither organizers nor sponsors nor the National Hot Rod Association nor The Coca-Cola Company are responsible for any damages or injury incurred as a result of winning.

The Commissioner's Office: An official standards and practices committee called The Commissioner's Office has been established to govern the rules and play of the game. You may address any questions, discrepancies, concerns or suggestions via email to

The Commissioner's Office reserves the right to adjust any rule if such an adjustment best serves all competitors. The Commissioner's Office also reserves the right to disqualify or refuse service to anyone if there is any evidence of tampering or manipulation.
Additional Rules and Regulations:
Errors: In the event that you believe The Commissioner's Office has made an error, it is the sole responsibility of you, the game participant, to inform The Commissioner's Office within seven days of the end of the race week in which you believe the error occurred. All efforts will be made to correct the error; however the decision of The Commissioner's Office is final.
Publicity: Game sponsor reserves the right to use entrant's names for publicity. Winners automatically grant to sponsor the right to use their name and likeness in advertising and promotion of this event without further permission or compensation unless prohibited by law.
Schedule Changes: Game will not be responsible for Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control, that may cause the cancellation of any NHRA national event. For any reason and without notice, sponsor and/or game operator reserve the right to cancel the game without compensation.
Gambling: Game may not be used for any form of gambling.
General: By entering the game, you (1) acknowledge acceptance of these rules and agree to adhere to and be bound by them, and (2) release, and waive any rights of recovery against or in connection with MotorSportsPromos and its respective sponsors, contractors, agents, officers, and employees from and against any claims, expenses, damages and/or liability incurred by you in connection with or related to the operation of, or your participation in the game, and (3) agree to hold MotorSportsPromos harmless from all typographical, statistical, transaction, and communication errors or omissions, and sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant for suspected cheating or non-adherence to these Official Rules.

Neither game sponsor(s) or MotorSportsPromos (game operator) are responsible for lost, late or misdirected online entries, for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry information whether caused by a contestant, equipment, or technical malfunction or for any human error, technical error or malfunctions. In the event that a scheduled race is canceled or preempted for any reason, no points will be awarded for that week for drivers on the affected teams.
Game sponsor and operator are not responsible for typographical or other human or technical errors in the offer or administration of this game, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Rules, the selection and announcement of the winner or the distribution of the prizes. Sponsor and operator reserve the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the game. If any modification to the rules occurs, registered participants will be notified via e-mail to the e-mail address on record at the time of notification. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this game, sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, or suspend the game. In such event, sponsor further reserves the right to award the Grand Prize to the player with the most points, as of the termination date.
Game sponsor and operator assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Neither sponsor or operator are responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this game. MotorSportsPromos is solely responsible for all aspects of this game, and the National Hot Rod Association and/or The Coca-Cola Company, Full Throttle, etc. have no responsibility whatsoever.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, CSK AUTO, INC. RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH CONTESTANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
In the event of a dispute, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry or registration. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
Game sponsor and operator reserve the right to halt, modify, or suspend the game at any time due to situations beyond the control of sponsors such as strikes, acts of God, etc. In the event that the game is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, sponsor reserves the right to discontinue or modify the game, or to disqualify participants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such event, sponsor shall have no liability to any players who are disqualified due to such an action.
Disclaimer of Warranties: You expressly understand and agree that: Your use of the service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. MotorSportsPromos expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. MotorSportsPromos makes no warranty that (i) the service will meet your requirements, (ii) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (ii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable, (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained by you through the service will meet your expectations, and (v) any errors in the software will be corrected.
