What if I get a new email address? Go to the My Profile page (after you login with your old email address and password), scroll down to the bottom and enter your new email addy. You'll have to submit your password again to make the change, and you can also change your password there.
What if I never received a confirmation email? When you register, and click the ‘Submit Registration’ button at the bottom of the page, you are automatically sending the confirmation email to the email address you listed. If you don’t receive the email with the link that completes the registration process, and its been more than a few hours (patience, dear friends), either you input the wrong email address or your service provider (like AOL, Yahoo!, Cox, etc.) is blocking emails from commish@fmfl.net. All emails are generated and sent according to server clock; so any delays will be due to email programs, browser settings, service providers and/or internet performance, all of which are beyond our control.
You can re-register using a different email address, or you can check your spam, bulk mail and junk mail folders. Finally, you can contact your service provider and instruct them to allow emails from commish@fmfl.net.
What if I want another email confirmation sent? After you are sure you have taken the necessary steps to receive our email, simply re-register with the same information and another confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address.
If I re-register with a different email address, can I use the same team name and password that I submitted the first time? Yes. Nothing is saved in the game database until you click on the confirmation link that is sent when you click the ‘Submit Registration’ button.
What if I type in my login ID and password from last year, but the page refreshes and it says “The information you provided is not valid?” Login IDs and passwords from previous seasons are not valid. All players must re-register with a valid email address that will accept a confirmation email from commish@fmfl.net.
Why is it that I get no replies when I try to contact the game administrators? Because your email provider won’t let our replies through. We receive your emails, and we reply as quickly as possible, but your email provider won’t let our response emails through.
What if I forget to submit my Starters? You will score zero points.
What if I swear I put them in but they somehow disappeared or were changed by NASCAR fans? You will score as many points as earned by the drivers in your official starting lineup at time of deadline.
What if a Driver isn’t listed in the Driver Selection Menu when I pick my Starters? The league strives to have all available drivers per series listed on the driver selection menu. Occasionally, last-minute or late driver changes will occur and the league will make its best effort to add those new drivers as soon as that information becomes available.
What if a Driver gets kidney stones and a substitute races his car? The game awards points to drivers, not cars. If a selected or picked driver withdraws from an event, he or she receives zero points and the substitute driver gets points earned for performance. The game has no provisions to replace driver picks if a driver can't compete.
What if a race is postponed? If a race is postponed, the scores from that driver or drivers will not be calculated until the race is finally run. This means that the round will not close or be completed until the postponed race is completed. When the postponed race is run, players are not allowed to re-select their starting drivers. The postponed race is not counted as one of the races for the round or weekend when it finally runs.
What if a race is cancelled? If a race is cancelled, never to be completed, then each player’s driver picks for that particular race will receive no scores, and the round will be considered complete.
What if qualifying is cancelled? If qualifying is cancelled, qualifying points will be awarded according to the NHRA ladder used to determine first round matchups. What’s the tiebreaker? The tiebreaker system is based on each team's score for the previous week or round. The team that scored the higher number of points for the previous round is selected as the prize winner.
Example: Let’s say it’s Monday morning after a national event, 4 teams are tied for Top Dawg with the same number of points, the most among all teams in the league. The tiebreaker checks each of those team's weekly scores for the previous round and awards the Top Dawg prize to the team with the highest score for the week before. If a tie still exists, the tiebreaker moves back to the national event previous to that; and so on, and so on. If the tiebreaker procedure runs out of national event weekends or rounds and still can’t determine a winner, one winner will be chosen by random drawing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
How do I find out if I won a prize? After each national event, the results and to-date standings of the MotorSportsPromos Drag Racing Fantasy League are posted online, and winners will be identified in the Top Dawg report and notified by email.
How do I get my prize? The MotorSportsPromos Drag Racing Fantasy League will mail the appropriate prize to each eligible winner within two weeks of the winning round. Any prize returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner.
Can I change my team name, or the name of my Private League? Unfortunately, once you have chosen a team name and/or registered for a Private League it can't be changed. If you absolutely must have a different team name you may register for the game again with your new Team Name using another working email address. You will receive a new confirmation email and you must confirm the new email address is valid by clicking the confirmation link in the email. Remember, you can only join one Private League and you may not switch Private Leagues. And you can only play with one active team per season.
